control cables for 1970 80hp merc

My throttle and shift cable are VERY hard to move, with some visible cracks in the sheath.<br /><br />I have seen Morse control cables listed online, but How do I know which type of end that I need?<br />is there an application chart somewhere?<br /><br />thanks!

You should be able to tell them what motor you have and they will match it up. There are several websites that tell you how to measure the length. I would pull your cables and head off to the store. the ends are pretty generic.
