Controls for my 2001 60hp Johnson?

Hi. I'm getting a 2001 60hp Johnson and I will need gear and throttle controls for it? What kind do I need and where's the best place to get them? (cheapest)I have controls now but they are for my 1961 Johnson Seahorse. Quite old and I don't think they will be compatible with the newer outboard. I'm in Pickering ON. Thanks, Chris

Try e-bay or some salvage yards.

I have tried ebay but not the salvage yards yet. Is there a particular type and will my old cables fit my new one? Thanks, Chris

you need controls from a 97 motor or newer for " plug and play " fit, or a control with the big red plug and an adapter cable..
