i have a 74 70hp rude on a 15' bowrider and the odd time the control box locks up i can move it forward but it dosn't go in gear just revs up and it dosn't move backward at all and it wont turn over. i un hooked the linkage at the motor to determine its the box not the engine. and to fix it i pull it apart jiggle some stuff around and it starts working, i have no clue why it works i've looked and looked and played and played and can't figure out what happens.
so ..... where can i buy control boxes? i think thats really my only option i couldn't find any on ebay so i dont really know where to get one.
