I own a 1997 25 hp Johnson 2cyl 2 stroke Model J25TELEU.
Long shaft tiller electric. On a 1997 Lund SV-14 14 foot tinny.
It's soon to become my older second boat as I'm going to
upgrade to a 16' Lund with a new E-Tec. So I'm willing to experiment
with the older boat and motor (200 hrs) which still runs great.
No body including BRP has ever given me the straight story on how to
convert the 25 to a 30. Carb, Compression, exhaust tuning what makes
the difference. From what I can see my engine has the all metal TR carb.
I bet some of you experts know the answer here.
