Sweet website, sweet vessel, neat concept, decent pricing for the unique service, as long as the food is fresh, tasty, and hot, I believe you will have a winner on your hands.
Great job, Jim. It's awesome to see someone's "dream" realized. Really, really cool. And, for what it's worth, I think you might even be a tad bit on the 'cheap' side. Obviously you know your cost/profit ratios, so I don't need to butt in, but the market would definitely stand a price increase if you find it's needed. Good luck!
A quick and useless 2 cents; like the website. As a consumer, I'd like to see more pictures and less wording. Your story is really cool, but maybe it deserves it's own "tab" that is an optional read. I know you just launched so these aren't critiques as much as they are tips.
I concur about the prices and web site, once the menu banners are on and the interior stocked, I will move the contents around on the website. I do agree with you emoney, the intro should have its own tab. New first page will have a large pic of BB1 showing it's location on the water, More links to local stuff as well. Weather and tides will be there to say the least.
Ok so how are things going? Did you get rich and move to some place that is warm all year! I would have shelled out the bucks for a floating burger at my lake last weekend!
Hey Archbuilder. Not rich yet!! Things are running smoothly. Obviously many startup issues but seems we are heading in the right direction. Had many issues with the wakes from the weekend warriors. Funny they are all waving and thumbs up as they blow by at 30 knots, go figure. Ice cream selling well. Burgers and dogs have been hit and miss. I think gas prices are keeping many folks at dock $5.00 a gallon!! Been very long days but can't beat being onn the water!",
