Converting a Sun Tracker Fishin Barge to a Party Barge

My father decided to get rid of his 21' Sun Tracker Fishin Barge (1998 or so). He's getting older and wasn't interested in taking care of it any longer. The pontoons are in perfect shape, and the engine is a 40HP (2 cycle, oil injected) Merc that runs beautifully. The railings and bimini are in good shape but the deck and seating is pretty well shot.

Since I'm going to have to rip everything off and re-deck it- I was considering the possibility of converting it from the Fishin Barge layout (with the pointed nose and fishing seats) to a square nose with standard seating.

I can get the extra cross member needed to square the nose off- and all of the decking and furniture is easily purchased. What I don't know where to get would be a squared off forward railing for this boat. I can get a replacement railing set- but that seems incredibly wasteful given that 3/4" of the existing railing works and is in great shape. Does anyone know of a source for just the forward railing (gates forward) or am I stuck replacing the whole thing?

Would I be better off just selling this boat and looking for one that was already the right shape?

Any feedback and opinions are appreciated.

-Thanks-

I have heard that Lowes sells the square tubing and as far as the panels go I think that I boats sells the panels or look at other pontoon forums about pontoons.
