converting ignition system 1985 85hp

has any body converted there ignition system from plug type connectors to terminal block style? seems a lot easier to trouble shoot

Pretty simple to do, but they're both about the same as far as trouble-shooting. Actually the plug in type is a bit easier because with the modular plugs, it's not quite as easy to get the trigger and stator wires crossed.
