Re: converting to electric start

I just did a conversion on a 9.9 - We had 2, one electric and one manual. The flywheels were different, but the electronics appeared the same.

Re: converting to electric start

if the flywheel has teeth on it it should accept a starter, provided there is a place to mount. but how hard is it to pull start a 30 hp? I have pull started a 90 hp and that was a *****. but if I was 10 -15 years older I wouldn't want to pull start anything, I'm 50
