Hey everyone, I've got a 73 cobia, and because I bought it in a non-title state I'm going to just have to guess my trailer is a 73. It is a "Gator" which from my research was purchased by Sterling trailers. Anyway, my situation is that the trailer has 4 or 5 5" wide rollers down the spine, 5 foot long bunks toward the back and 2 triangle bunks near the front that cradle the front of the boat. There are also side bunks, but they are wider than the boat and the boat shouldn't be touching them if its on correctly. Needless to say this boat is a heavy trihull and getting it on those rollers is a bear because there isn't much in the way of guidance. I was wondering is there any way i can make the trailer have full length bunks for the boat so maybe i could just drive it on like the bass boats do? I'm in like $5000 on this boat because it needed repowered, and I love the boat, so putting a few hundred into the trailer wouldn't bug me...or is it easier to buy a new trailer that is set up this way already?

Thanks
