1960 whitehouse ?

1960 Whitehouse or other. He says he has documentation. Looks like the last of the finned era in a cabin cruiser. Fiberglassics does not show a Whitehouse exact but a Colombia has many of the same lines

Could it be just a little heavy for that trailer? But it does look good..

Think it's more than a little bit.. Also a bit too long. But a decent project, at a decent price. If I had a big enough trailer and a place for it, I would run out and get it, but I have neither space or a trailer.

DANG! And with a Chrysler too! You got me. I would jump on that in a New York minute. EVEN with the nasty hook in the bottom--that's going to be a witch with a capital B to remove.

boat launch is not far away, which would make a trailer switch easier. Tho the new trailer would need eyeball tweaked and then adjusted a couple times.. Didn't notice that hook before, but that boat is still worth it. Too bad my own trailer is ~5' too short and a lotta lbs under load capacity, otherwise I would probably drop the Custom Craft on some tires and run after it. I'm only 2hrs or so away from there

I did not notice the hook either until mentioned. Probably never get that out... A good looking antique though.

I don't think that hull is hooked, take a closer look, you can't see the keel all the way back, the trailer bunk bar is blocking the view. Your seeing a combination of boat hull and trailer making it look like its hooked.

Those early hulls also have a much different transition from bow deadrise to stern deadrise. The keel itself may also end before it reaches the transom.

If I was still living in upstate NY, I would snatch that up in a hearbeat. Great find. Please go and save her!
