Well Folks, I have a coolant leak on my 470. After inspection I have narrowed it down to the front cam seal busting since coolant is leaking pretty good out of the drain passage inbetween the two cam seals as talked about in this post (http://www.sterndrives.com/470information/470coolantleakrepair.html)
There is no boating place within 150 miles of here that works on inboard motors, and the majority of auto shops here are the same (They are just hell to get to according to pretty much everyone Ive talked too...) Anyways, I was wondering if anyone had any advice because me and my buddy (an avid mechanic) are going to attempt to repair it ourselves. So any useful advice would be very much appreciated and taken into consideration. Thank you all for any input.
