Hey all, got some great advice on my last post hope to get some more. 1995 Johnson 130 outbound not getting any water out the telltail I’m hoping it is just plugged. Any suggestions how to trouble shoot. Water pumps appears to be fine, getting water out of the pee hole in the lower end and also notice water spraying out the joint between the lower and mid section of the motor when running. My thought was to attach a garden hose to the copper tube but wasn’t sure if it would ruin anything

string a piece of mono line to see if it is simply clogged easy stuff first !

try air blast if nothing start looking deeper. does theengine overheat can you touch it or take a temperature reading with an infrared gun

I took the 1/4” hose off seems fine. Hooked it back up sprayed water back through the hose and I get water out the copper tube. When I try spraying water up from the copper pipe I get some air through the tell tail and them nothing. That’s just holding the spray nozzle of my hose to the pipe. Is there that much pressure from the water pump when it’s running that it’s not coming out.
