Quicksilver 392-805570A 2 (Part # on the box) 392-805570A 1 (Part # On the coil itself)
When I bought the boat I pulled the engine to work on the boat. While the engine was on the bench I did a good inspection and replaced the plugs/wires/coil just due to age. I think they were all original. The engine ran great before, and after the parts replacement, however after getting the boat back on the water and about 60 hrs run time the new coil played out. I had the original one on board for spare, put it on, fired up and came home. I may have brought that on myself as it was an aftermarket coil for the thunderbolt IV. I bought another coil; this time from the merc dealer with the above part #s. I just want to know that this is the correct coil for my engine. The part # on the box ends with a 2 and the part # on the coil end with a 1. Does this look like the correct coil for the engine referenced below? Thanks for any help.
