Re: Correct Craft boats.

I'd imagine he meant "Cobra" on the engine somewhere, not on the outdrive itself. The Cobra monicker for Ford started with the '62 AC Cobra I believe, so the Cobra name could have very well made it onto a valve cover or air cleaner in the engine bay by the mid to late 70's. Cobra name plate was available on 289's, 302's, etc, so it could have been anything.

...as I stated in post #15...

Looks like an F-body Formula Firebird, 95 model or so I'm guessing. That LT-1 has been beefed up just a tad ;).

Close its a 96 Formula WS6. I bought it bone stock and did a little work to it. On the gun its close to 750 rwhp.

Lol, well since the stock WS6 was somewhere around 280RWHP, I'd say you made a few light mods.

Re: Correct Craft boats.

Just an FYI, Correct Craft did build "ski boats" that were an outdrive setup, they used a V-drive so they could move the engine to the rear of the boat.

Does a v-drive count as an "outdrive"? I normally look at it as an inboard like a direct drive.
