Correct Float Seat Assembly for 1995 J48ESLEOS

Hello,
I have a 1995 48hp Johnson #J48ESLEOS and the last two times I ordered the 'correct' carb repair kit #396701 including name brand OEM parts, I get a smaller diameter seat that does not fit. I am trying to fix a fuel leak and want the correct, larger diameter seat and matching fuel pin. Does anyone have any experience with this problem? Any insight is appreciated!

Factory parts from a dealer are best way to go.----Never an issue for me.

Here is two numbers for your carb.....maybe someone put the wrong carb on it.

Perhaps. The number stamped on my carb is 339169, which is different, and I can't seem to find the seat assembly for it. Thanks

It looks like someone put a 55hp carb on there. Search repair parts for this engine.

Part# for needle is 396522 and kit is 396701. This needle and kit has been used since 1969 . Only other needles are the 387262 and 396522. Got a pic of needles?
