Hi there,
I recently bought a 2002 30DMH Yamaha outboard, and am in the process of ironing out a few bugs.
One that has me puzzled is the fuel/oil ratio. My old Johnson ran at 50/1.
But the Yamaha sticker this motor, and the manual says 100/1.
If it makes any difference, I'm in Australia.
I'm using a TCW3 rated product.
So which is it . . .50/1 or 100/1 ? . Or do I split the difference and run 75/1 ?

thanks . . .
Actually, with a much more in-depth search, I see that it's 50/1.
Great site ! . . .thanks

Re: Correct fuel/oil ratio

Yamaha oil injection provides 100:1 at idle and 50:1 at WOT. If you are premixing then always run 50:1.
