Correct Motor Length

I am buying a new(to me) motor, I have already sold my last outboard. I believe it was a 20, I am going to go and look at it this weekend, but prior to going out there I wanted to make sure it was the correct size. The motor is coming off of a bass boat which sit a lot lower than my toon. Any measurement help would be good thanks.

you need to measure your transom, from where the motor sits on transom, to the bottom center of the boat. 15" is short shaft, 20" long shaft.

Yah i know that, but after I posted in the pontoon one I saw this and thought it was a better fit so I will be deleting the toon one. Thanks

Measure the motor from where it rests on the transom to the antivent plate just above the prop.If that is a 115 I wonder if it is available in a 15? Probably 20 or 25.
