I just bought a 92 ProCraft 18' with Mariner 150 and a Laser 21p prop. Freaggin' took a chunk and bent the prop on its maiden voyage (water levels in FL are definitely low). Now I need to replace it and don't know which way to go with diameter/pitch. I think the Laser is a 14 diameter. The previous owner told me the Mariners run best on 12 1/4 to 12 3/4....not sure if that's true or not since I can't really find that size prop with pitch 19, 20, 21. I'm not going with Stainless since they are so expensive and Aluminum will suit my needs.

What do you guys recommend as far as diameter and pitch. BTW, the Mariner has shaved heads and carbon fiber reeds installed. I believe it should be pushing close to 170hp.

Replace it with the same prop you now have. Check the barrel of the prop for diameter and pitch or a manufacturers part number. If not there, check the hub.
