I lost my trim tab anode. Merc parts dealer gave me a Quicksilver 31640T 5. But it gets screwed in from above, and I don't see any access from above. It appears the trim tab anode should be screwed in from the anode into the motor case. Or am I wrong? I'm new at this. Motor is a 2001 50 Hp 3 cyl, 2 stroke. Model # is 2001 50ELPTO. Can anyone tell me if I was given the correct part and just need to figure out how to install it or might I have the wrong part? Thanks.
