I have a 14' aluminum boat with a 10hp motor. My family wonders if we could pull a tube on the back or is the motor way to weak? Thanks.

You could cetainly pull a tube but I suspect it wouldn't be too exciting.

Exciting is a point of view. If you have a five year-old who is just getting comfortable in the water - it would be perfect. My kid started tubing about age four. His first ride we ran at idle half-way down the lake and he loooooooved it!

Now, if you're planning on pulling your 250 pound brother-in-law, I agree, that might not be so exciting...:D

Sure you can....back when I was younger (a long time ago...lol) I pulled my aunt skiing with a 14' aluminum with a 9.9 evinrude. She was very skinny, probably not over 100 lbs. She even dropped a ski and slalomed for a while....barely fast enough to stay on top of the water, but we sure got some looks from the people on the highway driving past their 5 acre pond.:)

Pulled my daughter in a tube with my 9.9. It went great and she had a hoot. Top speed was probably around 15-17mph. Your boat is bigger so I would expect around 12-14mph.

Have fun.
