Could this be my problem?

Excuse my drawing on this, but I remembered something I saw when I dissassembled my fuel pump, 94 erude 112 spl, bogs down at WOT. On my fuel pump, the piece that the fuel first enters that has the screen filter on it, the very center of that piece that has one screw that connects to the pump is cracked in the middle, very small cracks, but I wonder if this may be my problem? Excuse my terminology, I drew up a picture of where the cracks are as I dont have a picture. What do you all think? Could this be where possibly air is leaking in once the pressure builds up at WOT?

yep!!!, can suck air there. replace. BRP parts 335335,324668,319528

Awesome, just went and got the part, also got a rebuild kit. Another question with a brilliant illustration on my part, I noticed this gasket last time and this time I have one also. When I rebuilt the fuel pump the first time it did not have this gasket when dissassembled, it came in the kit again. Is this needed? I am sure someone on here will know this gasket when they see it. Thanks for all of your help.

it is the seal between the pump and the round black part in the first drawing.

OK, I did not see that in your diagram of the fuel pump, so the round inlet piece (filter cap), get the big black o ring, the small o ring, and the mystery gasket? Just want to make sure, I wonder if the first time I rebuilt this thing, the person who did before me did not add one of these?
