Couple late winterizing questions Johnson 50

Need a little help from the pros. I am getting to winterizing a little late this year and need a few tips. I have stabilized the gas and fogged the cylinders, but did not get a chance to run the gas out of the carbs before I parked the boat for the winter. I want to make sure my carbs don't varnish. I think there;s a few different ways to do this. Will someone please tell me the best way.
I've heard, just pull the spark plugs with the gas line off and let it push the gas out of the carb. I am nervous about turning the engine with it already being this cold out.
Also, just remove the carbs and drain them and spray them out. This is a little more labor intensive than I was looking for.

Normally we do not run multicarb motors dry, since one carb always goes dry first, and then there is no lubrication for that cylinder. I therefore think you are done with the fuel and cylinders. Now change the gear oil, and hit the grease fitings, and grease the steering rod.

No need to run the carbs dry as long as you have stabilized gas that has been run through the entire fuel system and not just stabilizer added to the tank at the end of running without it going through the system.
Change the lower unit oil though.

Stabilized fuel in the carbs is fine.No need to drain them as the other guys already stated.Running the cylinders dry can do a lot of damage.Why people do it on 2 strokes is beyond me..No fuel = no lubrication to that cylinder...

Sorry, I forgot to mention. I had it parked before i put the stabilizer in the gas tank. The gas in the carbs is not stabilized. Question?? Could I just squeeze in stabilized gas with the ball and just flood it and let it drain out??? Would that be enough?

That would be better than nothing, but too bad you didn't run it on stabalized gas the last time you ran it huh?

If it's only going to be for 2 or 3 months I think you will be just fine.

Don't hang your head in shame, if it wasn't for "rookie" mistake's this forum would not exist.

You can take the risk or plan a carb service / cleaning in the spring. If the carbs have not been serviced for a while then it would be a great time to do them.
