couple quick questions about parts

i have an 84 or 85 merc 25hp xd

the threaded bolt that comes out of one of my coils has broken. see pic.

1. do i need to replace the whole coil? or can i just replace the bolt piece?

2. also, this motor sat for a few years before i got it running, should i change the impeller just for precaution at it still pumps water while on the hose and muffs? i do not know if it can dry rot, so i want to be safe. if so, do i just replace the impeller, or is there a whole kit?

3. lastly, i have seen several different brand aftermarket repair manuels, is there one or two that seem to be best? which?

I tried getting some info from mercury parts express and have ordered stuff in the past but I dont think you can do much on there site right now. Looks like they are updating it. AM I wrong?
