cover for fish/ski

I had the factory cover for my 87 Ranger 373V until a few years ago, when I stopped being able to repair it. I then bought a $100 cover from walmart that was decent, but alas, it's finally past salvation. I think it was good for 3 years and that's what it lasted.

Can anyone recommend a good, but not horribly expensive cover for my boat? Any tips on what to look for and what to stay away from? Trailer-able would be nice, but not necessary. The last one covered the boat ok, but was just a bit short when trying to go over the motor. I was looking on Amazon and found a few that looked decent, but figured I'd ask here first.

I agree those would be nice and probably worth in long run, but too expensive. I've priced it once and it rivals, if not more expensive than what ranger would charge for one from them which is also custom fit to boat.

No cover that isn't custom made is really trailerable, they might say that but it'll tear up pretty fast because it won't be 100% tight on your boat.

I've read no cover should be trailered, so I understand. Only reason I'd leave it on is if storm came in and I wanted to better protect a rush job of packing up from camping. Don't get me wrong I'd love another custom made cover, I'm just not sure it's in the budget right now. My last cover was cheap but did a decent job. I'll say the contest lasted 3 years, the factory lasted 20-25!
