i am thinking of converting my trailer to rollers the planks always seem to turn then the boat sets on the 2in side instead of the 6 inch side, getting tired of fighting with it.

has anyone done this type of conversion ?

I have a equaload rollers on my shorlandr and if you do the conversion until you get used to rollers make sure keep your winch strap or chain hooked until you are in the water or coming out of the water. On a incline it will roll off the trailer. I have not had this happen but did have it roll back far enough that the saftey chain caught it, had it not been hooked it would have had a dry rough landing

Go to any of the trailer supply sites and price all of the bits you need to do the conversion and you will quickly find it'll be far cheaper to unload you bunk trailer and get a good used roller trailer.

You can just take the trailer to a welding shop and have them put a little weld on the bunk brackets and they won't turn anymore.

All great insight thanks everyone. Quick update i added a couple of wide rollers for the V of the hull makes things line up a whole lot better and I am going to do a single tack weld on the post to keep the planks from turning.

thanks again everyone
