THat hood looks like crap, kewl bird. what did you paint it with--a barn brush??
Just kidding, looks perfect. You must have really took your time on the prep. can't wait to see it with the new decals. They always look kind of plain without the decals. I've had good luck going over spray paint with catalyzed automotive clear coat. keeps it from getting scratched as easy and gives a nice gloss.

It took me a whole month, wonderful Michigan winter doesn't help too much. I'll be using clear coat after the second coat of paint . The decals are sitting on my desk awaiting on completion of paint process.

BTW, I think my boat was painted with a barn brush and household interior paint. I'll eventually work on it this summer.

That looks awesome. Reusing staples sounds like what everyone seems to be doing.
