Dust.... dust everywhere! I was a bit surprised how well the dust has invaded every part of the boat interior. I thought I was clever when I protected and sealed the wires, gauges and everything. They didnt help that much lol  However, my Double Vac Dust Prevention System(R) worked actually very well, now that I see how easily the dust invades everything. There's only a bit of dust on the floor and it got there from my clothes.

I can't blow out the dust with pressurized air because I dont want to get that dust into garage. So I will keep on vacuuming, wiping washing with water etc. The last bits I can blow out in Spring.

Today I am going to wash the boat with water, wash the garage floor and eventually organize the garage for construction phase. I'm pretty sure I have to buy some acetone and build some things for cutting the plywood also. Let's see.

I still find the dust even after rainstorms I can see the glitter here and there kind of why I don't think I ever wanna mess with glass again, id rather go wood route and not take risks with family and pets plus there is something relaxing about sanding woood , fiberglass not so much :)

Micky I agree. I also like how awesome the wood looks after 7-10 layers of varnish. Its like glass on a wood, beautiful!

But I also like this project. I still think its crazy to put wood inside of a boat that does not breathe at all but hey it worked like that for 26 years so it must be ok. Hah

Sanding glass can also be therapeutic.....just keep the dust out the crack of your............donkey.

Im glad the 3/4" plywood sheet (for transom and motor mounts) that I found is better quality than the 1/2" There are a lot of branch marks on 1/2". Im sure the epoxy will stick very well to half inch sheets too but still. Its not bad to be a little concerned on every project? :D

the thing you need to worry about is weight , however, I overbuilt mine as well and figured id toss a person overboard lowering my max that way then weakening the boat :)
