Well can I boat in the meantime? Cant be any worse than before I took this damn repair on. Ill do the gouge at the pinhole and see, but Im baoting tomorrow damn it. I had some JB around, havent started the motor since I put some of that on top of the damn marine tex, side of my block looks like it has a giant epoxy tumor. Ya....block shopping...but I want to get through the summer....if you had to bet...still leaking...slower now though....if I left it.....boating 1 maybe 2 days a week....hauling tubers etc...how long before the hole get bigger or the crack spreads under all that goop? Curious....

Your crack was in the same place as mine but about 4inches smaller. I drilled the ends with a 1/8 drill bit (as I remember ) to help prevent spreading and used jb epoxy and paste on it. It has not leaked one drop so far (to my surprise). I think your pinhole repair will be fine and you should have no problem using the boat! Don't stress over it, I'm not. It under low pressure and as long as your water pump is ok and you donot over heat and cause undue expansion of the block (cracked area) you will be cool! Enjoy the summer!

Well took the boat out yesterday for over 12 hours (long day). Didnt leak a drop from what I could see.... we shall see with time, now Im work on all the other problems! oh boats....how you cost me so!
