Cracked manifold

While this is only my second post, I have been reading this forum for months. I bought a 1990 Glastron (17') with a 1989 OMC 3.0L in it, serial #0C762101). I have done lots of work to this boat...new water/fuel separator, new fuel filter, new spark plugs, new battery, new starter, new alternator, rebuilt the carb. I even replaced the impeller in the outdrive. All of this is new to me and I've read the forum closely for info.

I checked the oil one day and noticed it was super milky. So I changed the oil and it was still milky. I did a compression test and got 90, 120, 80,80. Weird numbers for sure, so I figured it was a blown head gasket. I really love working on this boat so I figured this would be a great learning experience. Guess what? The head gasket is fine. Like...perfect. But I did notice that all of the exhaust ports were rusty and the intake ports were beautiful...on the head AND the manifold. So I did a test on the manifold...put a hose on the intake and water started filling up the exhaust riser before the water jacket. So....I'm thinking cracked manifold. The water goes into the exhaust ports, makes it past the valves, into the cylinders, past the pistons, and into the oil pan.

While I have everything taken apart, everything will get the works, including a new manifold. But I can't figure out which one to get!!! The carb serial number is 13899562 and the manifold number is 4267303. I just need someone to say, "This is the manifold that you want...and here are some other manifolds that will also work." Every time I research it, so many different options pop up, I end up forgetting what I'm even looking for!!!

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,.... So is it an OMC, or Mercruiser,..??..??

With compression numbers like that, 'n a busted manifold, you need a complete new runnin' bobtail motor,....

Please provide a little more info and pics if you can get them. Are you talking about the exhaust manifold or the intake manifold? Compression numbers like that are not good but a re-ring job and a good hone may be your answer. Also good idea to have head checked out while it is off.
