A brand new SEI complete unit (lower and upper) looks to be about $1,650.how much is pricey ?
Just google Search "Sterndrive Engineering".
Like I had said you can talk with their tech specialists and then go forward looking for a good used unit or get a new drive unit. Lots of options once you know what to
I looked at them a little everything included install kits even new shift cable gear oil everything I would need, about 1900$ really less than I expected. I tried searching by my model numbers and it wouldn’t pull them up. I was hoping to just buy the same drive I have now. I know I had it around 4k rpm’s on water so it shroud work out. The used one seems way different ratio I don’t think it will be good. Our town was hit wit tornadoes last night and wiped out most of everything so it my be a month or two but I would like to buy a new unit, a little scared about the ratios. I don’t believe people on the phone are there to help but there to make a sell. So I’d like all the info I can get firstA brand new SEI complete unit (lower and upper) looks to be about $1,650.
Ayuh,..... You need a Alpha 1, not a Gen.II, in 1.65:1,......I looked at them a little everything included install kits even new shift cable gear oil everything I would need, about 1900$ really less than I expected. I have replaced the gen two arm, and new shafts and bushings as one of the shafts was also from them gen twoIt would be helpful to have the same trim cylinders, you have 1 alpha and 1 alpha gen ii trim cylinder and a Frakenstein aft bolt .Look at the rubber bushings that should NOT be like that
