Crane cams is closed! OUT OF BUSINESS!
The big picture of the company Mikronite itself.
The 2 big main things they made were cutting tools for Stanley Corp & Dewalt. And the Aerospace division was shut down last year.
This will have a direct effect as they did make parts for other company's, including Comp, Crower and Crane was a major supplier of Cam cores to the performance industry.

Unfortunate, maybe some can use cheap chinese cams like some use the cheap chinese Edelbrock intake clones......

Atleast we have Comp and Crower.

Man, that sucks.....

I have been a gearhead since the sixtys and have always used their products. Such a shame to see some of the direct results of or sickening economy.
Plus, auto makers have constantly increased horsepower ratings on many newer motors and just popping in a cam did little difference...
