Im going to be starting my new engine build shortly and just woundering what guys think of putting a crank scrapper in a marine engine? Also what are stock head chamber cc and valve sizes on 5.7 260hp 1984 era?

Heads should be 165cc, don't see the need for a scrapper unless you plan on doing a lot of WOT. It won't hurt but the windage tray will work just fine.
That year could have 64 cc or larger chambers, 57s would give too much compression.. If you are changing your pistons make absolutely sure to get quench style pistons. With them you can run a little extra compression and timing for max ponies.
