Okay I'm not motor jockey but I'm not an idiot either, or maybe I am. Im stumped. Motor cranks like its going to the races but won't turn over. No sputter, backfire, spit choke or anything. Replaced the CD unit since there was not spark. New plugs. checked all wiring, grounds, neutral safety switch. Good spark at the plugs. fuel pump functioning, Clean gas, Gas in carb bowls but no turn over. Circuit breaker good, regulator good, electric choke operating. Spark plugs don't get fouled or soaked in gas. If anyone has ideas please let me know. Prefer not to repower the boat but don't know what else to do soon, None of the marinas in my area will touch a Chrysler. Motor was running fine and just quit when I was brining it in to dock was never able to atsrt it again. did put a new battery in. Needed it anyway. No dead short. Tested all circuits power to everything. Overtemperature sensor good. not that the motor won't start with that bad. any ideas or hel would be greatly apprecaited
Thanks

You may have spun your flywheel and moved the timing off.

Pull the nut on the flywheel and see if you can tell if the flywheel is still lined up with the key in the crankshaft. If it is, do the following.

Pull the plugs, ground the plug wires and jumper the neutral safety switch. Put a timing light on the engine and see what you have at idle. It should be
0~-2 degress.

Next, put the trottle in WOT and put the timing light on it again. It should be 30 to 32 degrees.

Check back with the results.
