Guys,
Took my 25 4 stroke 2001 yammie to the dealer to adjust the valves and investigate a strange noise. I was told that the 25 is made by Mercury and its the noisiest yamaha made. Qoute " All 25's are noisy and the noise you hear is normal, its the HARMONIC "CRANKSHAFT BALANCER" Please enlighten me. Is it Normal, will it get worse, and how do I fix it.

Wow i thought all 4 strokes were made for mercury by yamaha untill a couple of years ago . And they to make some noise thats what i here . alot of guys dont like trolling with them .
