I have a late 1950's 25hp Sea King (GG9026A) with a leaking crankshaft top seal (armature plate soaked with oil). I am looking for source(s) for the proper removal tool or for tips on how to remove. The service manual references a puller that is a "tube" that fits over the shaft and has outside threads that grab the inner lip of the seal on one end and a center screw that applies pressure on the end of the shaft to lift the seal out. Conventional three-legged pullers can't fit between the shaft and the lip of the seal.

if that motor was made by omc for seaking then find an old dealership and see if they still have the removal tools.<br /> good luck and keep posting
