I have a late fifties Montgomery Wards Sea King. 25hp, model GG9026A, manufactured by the Gale Corp. The top crankshaft seal is leaking oil and soaking the armature plate. I'm hoping someone can direct me to a source for acquiring the proper removal tool or offer ideas on how to make something that will work. In case it helps, the replacement seal part number (Bombardier E/J) is 321467.

Re: Crankshaft Seal Puller

They made what you need, but you can't get them anymore. Most older Johnnyrude dealers have them, probably collecting dust in a back room. It's not a big task and they might do it for you cheap. Make a few calls and good luck. If you can remove the flywheel and armature plate beforehand, it'll be that much cheaper and quicker.
