Crankshaft Sealing Rings

I am rebuilding my '76 Johnson 115etl and it is currently completely stripped and ready for re-assembly. The block is at the shop being bored, and I am ordering in the parts needed. I hit a snag on the crankshaft sealing rings though. I sent my OEM manual with the block just to make sure the shop had the right info. All I have is my SELOC. The question is, How do I measure the rings and order replacements? I read about different stripes and such on the rings, but I can find nothing that looks right on the existing rings.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

They're really not that critical. Part number 319244 will do the job. If "iboats" doesn't have them, let me know via email how many you need.

Re: Crankshaft Sealing Rings

I was gonna order the three I need for about $12 apiece, but then I ran into the sizing issue and thought I better double check.

But if you got a few layin' aorund...
