I can't believe it was a land accident. A rollover would have destroyed the steering wheel and the top of the main outboard would have encounterd some severe road rash. <br /><br />I work with trees alot. It is was from a storm damaged there would be bark, twigs, and other debris left behind. <br /><br />It appears to have been in the water submerged for several weeks. The one side does have somewhat a "V" shaped tear in it. It is even possible it was from hurricane/tornado damage at a marina where other boats were. USAuctions.com sells many of boats that were in various accidents.

I was crossing a bridge the other day that crosses the lake I regularily play on and cruise under that very bridge. The bridge was closed down as someone with an over size load of big round hay bales tried to cross and dumped 3 of his bales on the bridge and one was floating in the lake... its about a 200' drop from the bridge to the water... imagine being under a falling big round bale??? Anyway on those pictures on ebay.. the front of the right trailer fender is damaged and the left rail from front to back looks bent to me. I'd say on trailer accident. water on the ground could have been parked on a forward slope and got rain water in it... when they moved it for pictures its leaking out. and I have to believe if it got run over in the water more of that stuff would be still in the lake bed.

Did anyone see the video footage of the ferry running into the marina in BC last month ? A couple dozen boats were 'run over' by a massive 7,000 ton ferry. I can see this type of dammage from that kind of accident.

I emailed the seller about what had happened to the boat, this is the responce I got back.<br /><br />"sorry we dont get any of that information. all i can say is that it was in an accident."

if it was real estate, it would also be "loads of character" <br /><br />in my experience:<br /><br />character = crappy<br />fixer upper = unfixable<br />needs TLC = neglected and abused since new, now doesn't work<br />entry level = no one who knows anything would buy it<br />fair condition = unuseable<br />good condition = useable, if you have no standards<br />runs good = might run<br />ran good last year = engine blew last time out<br />barely used = never ran right<br />for parts = there are probably no good parts left<br /><br />

I'll venture a guess,,<br />in one pic, there is still water draining out of the transom drain..so water inside may have just been from while the boat sat thru the seasons.<br />and, if,<br />a building collapsed under a heavy snowload, maybe this type of damage would be done.. ?<br />just a guess..

is it just me or is that console facing backwards? The steering Wheel Should be faceing the back of the boat instead of the front. Maybe That is when this boat looks like this

Actually it looks just like one of the boats that was in an accident here not long ago. Another boat ran over it from the side with very similar results.
