I would say exhaust tuning and to some degree, I would think venting.

The sx drive does not exhasut like a merc, there are two exhauts's notice how the exhaust gas's drop from the prop and the upper port has more pressure.

Little Sea Foam action there. Anyway the 20 prop barrel is 1/8 shorter than the 22 and looking at the stilletto sight the bass pro props have the same part number as the baypro's ........ can anyone say merc enteria? 22 or 23...... i wish

Re: Crazy Stilletto prop question

So this thread end's the 21 pitch 3 blade is off to it's orignal owner, the 22 pitch 4 blade is off to ebay looking for a owner.

The boat picked up a 5mph gain with the 20p 4 blade and runs much smoother both in engine vibration (which i cannot help will increase the overall life span of the drive and motor) and it also has lifted the boat higher on plane creating a much smoother ride on a chop. The trim tab's stabilzed high speed stability and again made coming out of the hole smoother and quicker, overall i am very pleased.

Had i not spent time in this prop forum i would have been dependent on marine dealer's or word of mouth recomendation's i can tell you i would have spent more money and recieved far less preformance and result's, So thank's again to walleyehed, Dhadley and Ron G watching your info and guidance is appreciated here.........8)
