Creepy spiders :(

2 days ago I killed a big brown recluse spider in our kitchen......not very reclusive if you ask me......Today killed a huge Black widow in the garage........Startin to freak me out......whats next? A taranchla in the bathroom?

I thought you were headed towards Florida?

I would get a cheap but powerful shop vac and go to town on all the nooks and crannies behind everything.

Those brown recluse are nasty and I have seen the results of their bites when I lived in MO. Those cans of spray air that you get for the computer will flush the little buggers out where you can shop vac them. Then seal up those cracks.

Are you sure it was a black widow? Could it have been a black single not yet married ugly spider!

OR you could adopt a pet black snake for the house!

there was also a brown smaller spider with the black widow only one leg was still working ( she must of just had her way with him.......sort of reminded me of my ex) when I smashed him too so she wasnt quite a widow yet but after I was done she was.........oh and I guess he was a widower too. Yes Bob I seen pictures of BR spider bites and its a nasty deal. They say most houses have them around in these parts they just rarely are seen or bite.....but when they do its a real bummer.

We wont be moving till Feb........I guess thats when we will really see some bugs and spiders.

Back when I had copper fever (like gold fever), I got this big transformer (I guess that's is the name of it) from my brother. Here I was after handling this thing several times looked down and seen a black widow red hour glass and all, that aint the worst part about it her babies were crawling all over it. That sent shivers down my spine. I burnt the heck out of that thing, didn't half to worry about the black widows then, then I cut the copper out of it. I have been bitten by a spider since I seen that darn black widow. I woke up in the middle of the night and my hole bottom lip was swelled. I thought I was going to half to go to the hospital with no insurance. A little bit of bufferin, gurgle with peroxide, a few ice packs and a phone call the a 24 hour nurse, later I was alright. After my lip went back to normal size you could see were I was bit. My father was bitten by a spider twice in his life time, the one time he nearly lost his finger over the darn thing, had to go to the hospital and the doctor squeezed the puss out made him about come off of that table.

That's one thing about being up here. If you don't like spiders don't move here there everywear. Mostly Wolf spiders but we also have Widows and Recluses. The worst part is when im trucking through the bush and you walk into a big web.

Good thing, because when you move to Florida, you will have plenty of both. I think though, Florida may have something that eats snakes too. Have fun

spiders dont bother me but brown reclue spiders give me the willys bad. i hate getting close enough to them to kill em. i have seen what they can do

Those cans of spray air that you get for the computer will flush the little buggers out where you can shop vac them. Then seal up those cracks.

I flip the can upside down and spray. It handily converts the buggers into an inert frozen mass that can be picked up with a tissue and discarded.
