As for turbo charging -- how do you intend to cool the exhaust system? Even without the turbo, the exhaust system needs to be cooled and that's why heat exchangers not radiators are used in boats. You still need to pump water through the exhaust and that water has to come from the body of water you happen to be running on. You certainly could use zoomy headers but that would get old in a heartbeat and you would likely be a target for neighbors.

I do have cyro treated axle shafts and birfs on my rock crawler.

In al seriousness. there is no question that cryo-treated gears and shafts wear better and are somewhat stronger... I suspect that in an antiquated assembly like an alpha gear box, set up is every bit as important... and no matter what you do, put anough power in front of it and it is just a mater of time before you reduce it to bits of metal...
