I have a Pre-65 Winchester 94 30-30. It looks like it just came out of the box, absolutely pristine. I know that the gun is very valuable, so I take good care of it, but it is a hunter. Anyone have a guesstimate if the value? It was bought in 1945 by my Grandfather for 35 dollars.

Hey Nathan,

Unforunatly, muskyone is correct, there probably is not much value in that rifle.

You could probably sell it for about $800 to $1000 at gun show if you are willing to go to a lot of gun shows, because you would have to find someone who is lookin for that perticular type and is willing to pay what you ask.

Great gun though.

Have you ever fired it?

What a RUSH !

Kenny

Re: Curious to Rifle value

I was just curious, I know that it is not a 1000 dollar gun, but I have been told that it would be easy for me to get 500 out of it. I would never dream of selling it. Yes I do shoot it, but only when necessary, I dont target shoot it, just shoot deer with it. My grand father shot 2 deer with it, and I have shot one with it. Still on the original box of shells. They still shoot great too, for being 50 years old. When that box is gone, then I might put it up for my son, God willing, I ever have one.

It IS time for some fresh ammo.
Ammo has progressed tremendously over the last 60 years. Save the old box of ammo to be displayed with the rifle.
