I need to recover my cushions downstairs and would like to know if anyone has had any experience with a material that can be cleaned easliy and needs to be durable. Can you recommend the best type of material? I want to use something other than cloth.

Thanks

I'm doing the same and can't decide between cloth and vinyl and what to expect to pay for it.

Other boaters have told me to use Naugahyde but I have not had much luck in getting this forum to give some advice. I am tired of the cloth and would like something I can clean, dry, and be durable.

Re: Cushion Material Needed?

Iam using marine vinyl, SUNBRELLA fabric and pollyester. In my cabin where there may be not much water (maybe a few sprays) I use pollyester. very easy to maintain. On the deck I use marine vinyl, very easy to clean and is water and uV rays resistant, SUNBRELLA is used for my deck cover when boat is not in use. cost can range between$9 and $24 a yd.
