EZ, it looks like your boat is in a slip in your pic, does it live there? It's aluminum, right? I'm guessing it freshwater.

That's just a pic of it in the slip at our rental place in OC, MD for a week in the summer.

I personally wouldn't want to leave your boat in the water either if it was mine. I'd only be able to sleep soundly if I was doing that with a boat with a self-bailing deck.

Shouldn't a lift similar to this type be able to be acquired fairly reasonably used?

I did find a lift similar to that one, but the marina was hesitant to allow it. Apparently it looks too permanent, even though it is not.
