Whats the purpose of this ROD? Are you implieing that if he did not serve his opinion is not as valid as yours? You know you get more bees with honey.......or in other words your additude sux so why would anybody really care what you have to say......Try it with a bit less tude and maybe your point will get listened too without it just getting written off as another bitter statement by the king of bitter.

Wow. So non-military types have no say so. Well I hate to inform you my friend, the military is run by civilians. Not the other way around. Whether you like it or not.

Re: custombycrunch

Its not a matter of knowing more than those who have not served or who has say so, its a matter of having a different perspective. I served 11 years, and while I will never say I know more than those who never served, I will say that I have seen and done things that those who have never served have only read about. Serving in the military is an honorable thing that is not easy to do. You sacrifice a considerable amount, and your entire family is along for the ride. Those of you who have not served have wives who have never known what it is like to have their husband and father of their children deployed to some Godforsaken hellhole, never knowing when they will come back. I could go on and on, but if you can't understand that, than you truely have no empathy at all.

Having a hard time understanding that? I'll try a different tactic. My wife has Multiple Sclerosis. I have read every bit of information you can find, and I feel 99 percent confident only doctors know more about the condition than I do. That being said, I have only the vaguest idea what she is going through when she has a relapse, because I do not have the disease. I only observe what she endures.

Its the same thing. Unless you have been behind the rifle, you can only guess at what it is like. We went through a lot to serve our country, please do not impune that service with such crap as I have seen stated by some of the non-veterans on this site. Maybe Rodbolt could phrase things a bit differently, but I do not blame him for reacting the way he is.

Custom, that's cool, and that should be all anyone needs to know. Its your business. And loading U-hauls means only one thing: Moving! That is misery in and of itself. Good luck with that...

Re: custombycrunch

JasonJ I have nothing but repect for those who serve and who have served......even TXWinner......(though I cant stand his whineing)...........But to say Customs opinion on world affairs is less then Rodbolts because he didnt serve is wrong........If custombycrunch votes, then customs opinions on the subject of America and its role in world affairs is as valid as yours or Rodbolts.....As a matter of fact all you fine men who served our counrty boldly and proudly did so to protect that very right and to have an opinion and speak it out.

meant I thought your comment was funny - "comparing ***** sizes" - still laughing - not sure if mike's comparison of bass sizes was related or a freudian slip.

No, I think you would have to say that it was scrupulusly edit by someone that is very smart. ;(
Now this is an example of someone who is unscrupulous, anonymous and has no sense of humor. It is called acting under the color of authority.
