Customizing a bass cat

I have a 76 basscat trihull that I love but want to customize the inside storage. I am mechanically good but have never messed with fiberglass. I want to add some storage in the front that is open. I want to make new storage areas from scratch. How hard is it to fiberglass. Do I neeed to make frames from plywood then glass or what.

i don't know what a bass cat is. but you've got the basic idea. make sure the transom,floor, and stringers are good, before spending major money.
