Do you think this is a safe and adequate repair? I am replacing my deck. I was using my angle grinder to cut through some wood and fiberglass, and accidentally cut a hole through my hull. the cut is about 2" long and 1/8" wide. So for the repair I used a marine epoxy putty, filled in the hole, let that cure. Then I used my angle grinder and dished out the area on the inside of the hull about 2" wider than the cut. Roughed it up with some sand paper, then wiped it down with some acetone. I cut 5 pieces of 6oz. cloth, ranging from 1"-6", then used epoxy resin to wet it out and apply it. The cut happened on the bottom part of the hull just in front of the jump seat.
I will post some pics when it is done raining here.
thanks,
Matt
