thanx!! its a nice boat. its a shame they didnt make an access plate. but yet the way the fish box is, i dont think you would be able to get it out anyway.<br />-<br />til i can seperate ive got a pontoon alum. 18 to 20 gal tank, i need to figure out how to mount with out putting any holes in the deck.<br />-<br />i was thinking of having a bracket made & remove the rod holder to screw it in there. <br />would rather use a portable plastic, but havent found any with atleast a 5/16 to 3/8 draw.<br />tempo is all 1/4.<br />-<br />thanx for your input it is greatly appreciated.

ATTEN - jomac<br />-<br />i pulled off one side of the transom cap, and found what looked like a pink/flesh color sealer <bondo?> in the seams.<br />is that what you encountered when you seperated the hull on the cc trophy?

Yep!!! It's a compound(putty) made from resin and silica, should!?! be fairly easy to break lose very britle, chip at it use hardwood wedges to pry deck and transom apart GOOD Luck!

when i was setting just the bracket on, i notoced the cap was lose so i started to take off to reseal. it cracked every where. new one is 80+.<br />too bad i didnt know someone to fabricate an aluminum one.<br />am just trying to one of these boats in the water this year. recent injury has set me back further. thanx for the reply!!

Yea mine had that same damn plastic cap fell apart, your lucky you can find a replacement my boat was too Old they don't make them anymore, I pieced one together out of old transom seals(alum) Not the best looking thing but it works. Take care& Get Well the boats will wait on ya. P.S. I'll be gone for about 2 weeks going to Orlando for my daughter's dance comp. then to Steinhatchee FL. (gulf coast) for some fishing, R&R

nice web pages!!<br />yea, i think im gunna have to change the name of my boat from 2K to neversail.<br />-<br />thumb injury & shift in docs have put me to the way side. <br />-<br />still trying to get motor back together slowly.<br />got the motor bracket installed, going to try to put midsec on tomorrow.<br />then powerhead & last lower unit.<br />-<br />i think the trophy <2kboat> got mad when i was working on the t166, instead of her. <gotta have some type of excuse><br />-<br />anyway will propably scrap the T166 project & focas on the trophy.<br />im missing out on some good fishing here in SC.<br />-<br />but my home town is near ft.walton beach, and will probably move back there to be near grand daughter.<br />really want to spend time with my dad & get him out fishing.<br />-<br />
