Hi - I'm still new to boats and this website. I have posted under the restoration area our project (87 Searay Seville cuddy cabin). We picked this boat up cheap and will be doing all the repairs ourselves.

This boat was a trade in on an RV and has been at the RV lot for 10 years. Someone took the trim cyclinders for both sides, removed them and cut the hydralic lines.

As mentioned we are new to boats and I think I have the right pieces noted (these are the things that lift the outboard part of the motor up and down, also remember I'm the wife and doing all the question asking, LOL) Our first thing is getting the boat motor running and operating. Can we buy these parts used first (new would cost us around 700 - 800) we want to get the power and electronics part up and running before we start replacing the wood etc.

Is there a place we can buy used parts? or does some one have any they would like to sell - as mentioned this is just to get it up and running.

Motor looks real good - having the starter rebuilt and we should be able to start it.

Any information would be greatly appreciated! Please forgive me for not having the fight terms or lingo about boats or parts, If it was old cars I can talk, LOL

Thanks!

I did and came up with "0" results - I put in the boat motor type and trim cyclinders etc and nothing! Am I asking for the wrong thing?
