Cylinder head replacement............?

Can I replace the head on my 79' Evinrude 140 HP with a head off a 77' Evinrude 85 HP? Just curious. I found one on ebay and the two appear identical. Thanks..................ALAN

You want Stbd 0322865 and Port 0322864 used from 1978 to 1981.

Better to try some of the salvage yards like http://www.twincityoutboard.com/ and get the right ones.
